50 years behind bars for 49 year old Kenneth Creek of Atlantic City, sentenced on charges of first-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. The investigation began on August 25, 2022, when Atlantic City Police Department officers responded to the South Carolina Apartments Complex at 1300 Baltic Avenue in Atlantic City just after midnight. Upon arrival, police found Jordan Eaddy, 31, of Philadelphia, PA, deceased in the
grass with two gunshot wounds. Evidence presented at trial, including video footage of the
shooting, showed Creek fire twice at Eaddy as he attempted to flee. The medical examiner
testified that one wound to his back was fatal and resulted in his death. Creek claimed at trial that
he fired in self-defense.
