The NJ Division of Taxation has extended the deadline to apply for the ANCHOR Benefit program.
The Nov. 30 deadline was moved to Dec. 6 to allow time for processing applications through the Thanksgiving holiday. ANCHOR benefits will be distributed on a rolling basis within 90 days of application.
The program offers tax relief to NJ property owners and renters who meet certain income limits.
