CRDA Allocates Additional Funds For AC Marketing Efforts

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority will put an additional $4 million toward the budget of the organization Visit Atlantic City, as that group takes on additional marketing work for the Atlantic City Convention Center. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the group, formerly known as Meet AC, was formed by the CRDA in 2014, a public/private partnership that took over booking at the Convention Center and other duties, including marketing and advertising. The board also approved an operating budget for the convention center, which authority Chief Financial Officer Kathleen Marshall said consisted of two budget requests, one for the operation of the building, the other for marketing.
