On November 23 at 8:07 PM, Atlantic City police were alerted by a citizen that a man needed medical attention near Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues. The man was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation determined that the man had fallen to the ground. After falling to the ground, 31 year old Ruben Carlo approached and attempted to go through the man’s pockets. Carlo then stomped on the man and went through his pockets again.
After determining that Carlo was a suspect, he was located by officers in the 1900 block of Atlantic Avenue. Carlo initially resisted arrest, but was quickly taken into custody.
