Wednesday, Atlantic City Police responded to the first block of north Arkansas Avenue for a report of a shoplifting that had occurred at the Bass Pro Shop. The suspect, 33 year old Tueta Kupi, was stopped by members of the Tanger Outlets security team. Kupi was arrested after being found in possession of the stolen item from the store. Additionally, Kupi had a loaded handgun, 23 individual bags of heroin, a small amount of methamphetamine, and numerous prescription pills. Kupi also had a clothing item from a second store that was later determined to be stolen.
