Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson wanted the Board of Commissioners to pass a resolution Tuesday supporting the Atlantic County Utilities Authority, after some Republicans criticized the agency in October over landfill odors and suggested the authority could be privatized.The Press of Atlantic City says the commissioners did not pass a resolution of support, but some said publicly they support the ACUA and have no intention of privatizing it or dismantling it.The board is made up of eight Republicans and one Democrat.
