In Egg Harbor Township a person was taken into custody Wednesday after U.S. Marshals and State Police served a warrant on Atlas Lane, leading the Dr. Joyanne D. Miller school to be put under a shelter-in-place order, police said. Township police were brought in to assist the agencies and referred all questions regarding the matter to State Police. The shelter-in-place order was implemented out of an abundance of caution, police said in a Facebook post.
