Revenues won from in-person gamblers at Atlantic City’s casinos increased by 2.6% in January, even as overall gambling revenue declined by nearly 1%. The Press of Atlantic City reports that was the opposite of what usually happens each month, where in-person gambling is down even as total overall gambling revenue is up.
Figures released Friday by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement show the nine casinos collectively won $210.1 million from in-person customers in January, up from $204.7 million a year ago.
