State Police Detective Case

Three people have been sentenced to time in prison for their role in an incident that led to a State Police detective being shot at a mobile home park in Salem County in 2020, the state Attorney General’s Office said.Markese Rogers, 30, of Pittsgrove Township, received five years. Noel Lazu, 25, of Bridgeton, received three years. Imari Lazu, 27, of Bridgeton, also received three years.Ashley Acevedo Diaz, 27, of Bridgeton, was sentenced to two years of probation with the condition that she serve nine months in the county jail.
