In Egg Harbor Township Marco Polo Smigliani – his time in the Marines during the Vietnam War or what he has done as a volunteer veterans advocate during the past 24 years is being recognized.For Smigliani’s military service and veterans advocacy, he will be honored with the renaming and dedication of Swift Drive as Marco Polo Smigliani Purple Heart Way. The ceremony will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday adjacent to Veterans Memorial Park, 2153 Ocean Heights Ave.
