The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire at a home in the 500 block of Burton Avenue on Sunday. According to the Press of Atlantic City, police received a call at 3:36 p.m. for a report of heavy fire, according to a Facebook post from the city’s Fire Department. Additional firefighters from Pleasantville, Linwood, Somers Point and Egg Harbor Township assisted. No cause announced yet.
