Officials in Atlantic City are launching a new marketing campaign to emphasize the importance of shopping local as part of Small Business Month. The Press of Atlantic City reports dozens gathered in City Council chambers Thursday to announce signage featuring information about local businesses would be placed around the city and parking would be free citywide May 17 to allow visitors and residents alike to shop, eat and explore.
