The suspended Atlantic City High School principal accused of failing to report the alleged abuse of the mayor and superintendent’s daughter is requesting the court reconsider dismissing the indictment against her, alleging several factual errors were made regarding the specific allegations in the indictment. The Press of Atlantic City reports Constance Days-Chapman is charged with official misconduct, pattern of official misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child and hindering apprehension. She is due back in court Aug. 11 for a pretrial conference. She has pleaded not guilty. Judge Bernard DeLury rejected the motion to dismiss July 9.
