City of Wildwood officials called for a regional approach to problems related to e-bikes Wednesday as an increasing number of towns seek stricter state regulation of the vehicles.“Perhaps we need to get together a coalition, because it’s a big problem,” City Commissioner Krista McConnell said in response to a resident’s concerns during a recent meeting.McConnell cited statements from Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian and other area officials as indication of an issue that goes beyond Wildwood. Gillian described a bill in committee in the state Assembly that would require electric bikes to be registered and insured.
