An Atlantic City man who shot and killed another man at a city apartment complex nearly four years ago was sentenced Tuesday to 70 years in prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said. Umar Abdullah, 50, was found guilty of murder, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the death of Mark Wright, 35, also of Atlantic City. Abdullah must serve 54 years before he will be eligible for parole.
