Two homes were destroyed and two others damaged in a fire in Mays Landing on Monday afternoon. BreakingAC.com reports Hamilton Township police arrived on the scene at about 1:10 p.m., and found heavy fire to multiple residences, police said. Volunteer fire companies from Mays Landing, Laureldale, Bargaintown and Cardiff, along with N.J. Forest Fire responded to the scene and worked to bring the fire under control. No word on a cause.
