The NJ Department of Transportation has scheduled temporary gate closures on the Route 40 and Route 30 Drawbridges in Atlantic City. Each closure is expected to take 5-10 minutes and should not exceed 15 minutes. Closures will occur between 9 am and 2 pm as follows:
Route 40 Drawbridge – Friday, September 12
Route 30 Drawbridge – Wednesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 24
Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise caution and anticipate potential delays in the work area. The schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
