Two people who could not swim were rescued from the water in Atlantic City on Monday. BreakingAC.com reports the two were spotted near the beach at Tennessee Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. Lt. Kyle Deroo and Lifeguard Mike Awad saw one of the bathers struggling, and went to assist, according to the report. The first bather who was brought in conscious. The second bather was brought to shore in heavy currents. The woman began bleeding from her mouth and nose after she was placed on the sand, and lost consciousness. At that point, the Atlantic City Fire Department arrived on scene and transported the patient to the hospital, Duffy said. She was reportedly in stable condition on Monday evening.
