The Wildwood Crest Board of Commissioners has approved a $28.5 million municipal budget for 2024 that includes a 1.5-cent tax rate increase. Margate Budget

Margate City Commissioners have introduced a 2024 municipal budget of about $40.1 million with a 3.7-cent tax rate increase. This will be the first year taxes have gone up in the city in the past decade, said Leon Costello, the city’s auditor in an article in the PRess of Atlantic City.

Revitalization Tax Credit

Four local community development corporations in Atlantic City have each received $1 million in Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program funds from the state Department of Community Affairs to improve commercial businesses and their facades, and offer housing rehabilitation grants, clean-and-safe initiatives, community programs, outreach and education, and career training.
