Aerial Mosquito Spray Canceled for Galloway and Port Republic

Due to unfavorable wind conditions, the Atlantic County Office of Mosquito Control has canceled the aerial mosquito spray scheduled for Wednesday evening, July 26, for portions of Galloway and Port Republic. Conditions are not expected to improve tomorrow, so spraying will not occur on Thursday. No new spray date has been scheduled at this time.

Ocean Heights Avenue Construction

Eastbound traffic on Ocean Heights Avenue will be detoured temporarily starting today for drainage and concrete work.The road will be detoured between Blackman Road in Egg Harbor Township and New Road in Somers Point from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Atlantic County officials said in a news release.
