During a Juneteenth event Wednesday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced a mass clemency program he said will help those who may have been convicted of a crime that is no longer illegal or victims of domestic violence. The action, said Murphy, means thousands could have their criminal records wiped clean.
