Authorities Issue Cease And Desist For Wildwood Car Rally

Wildwood Police and the Cape May Prosecutor’s Office are looking to put the brakes on a car rally that resulted in two people being killed last year. Organizers of the H2Oi Pop-up Rally had started promoting its return but now a cease and desist has been ordered. Wildwood police say they’ve been checking social media and found several small groups promoting an event in Wildwood, which they call an unsanctioned event. With the cease and desist in place, all social media promotions for it have been removed from social media platforms.
