Vineland Man Acquitted Of Killing Neighbor Sentenced On Separate Crime In Florida

A Vineland man who was acquitted earlier this year in the stabbing death of his neighbor was recently sentenced to 20 months in prison for threatening a driver with an airsoft gun in Florida. According to the Press of Atlantic City, Zachary T. Latham was given credit for 811 days served on a bench warrant, according to Florida court records. The Florida Highway Patrol said a driver alerted one of its officers to Latham threatening them with an AK-47 style airsoft gun while driving Jan. 24, 2021, according to an affidavit of probable cause. After passing both the patrolman and the driver, Latham was pulled over. A highway patrolman found the airsoft gun inside a camouflage backpack.
