Cape May Signs Twin City Agreement With City In Quebec

The City of Cape May and the City of Rosemere in Quebec signed a Twin City agreement at the Monarch Festival at the Nature Center of Cape May. Rosemere is also along the migration route for Monarch Butterflies and the City is interested in investing more into supporting the Monarch’s passage. Rosemere, Quebec received the 2022 Silver Award from the David Suzuki Foundation for their Monarch Butterfly protection programs. Because the two cities share a vision for supporting this migration and their shared interest in nature and sustainability, the cities signed an agreement on Sunday October 1, at the Monarch Festival to formalize working together towards this goal.
