SJTA Reaches Airport Redevelopment Deal

The South Jersey Transportation Authority and a California-based real estate company have reached an agreement to redevelop about 400 acres of the Atlantic City International Airport property. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the SJTA will work with Industrial Realty Group LLC on a new mixed-use development in the northwest corner of the airport property, exploring the development of an air cargo maintenance and repair facility that could result in hundreds of short-term construction jobs and many more long-term jobs.
