On Wednesday November 8, 2023, Marc J. Snead, 30, of Vineland, was
indicted on one count of second-degree Official Misconduct by an Atlantic County grand jury.
Snead was originally charged in June following an investigation into the introduction of
contraband items, including cellular phones, into the Harborfields Youth Detention Center, where
Snead was employed as a Youth Services Worker.
The investigation revealed that Snead provided juvenile residents with Marijuana “Vape” pens in
exchange for money received electronically from the friends and family of the juvenile residents.
