New Jersey will invest $51.9 million in federal grants toward 30 projects to expand preschool availability. The Press of Atlantic City reports Murphy announced the first of two rounds of funding while welcoming hundreds of state educators to the 2023 New Jersey Education Association Convention at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
Locally, the money will go toward work at Egg Harbor Township’s Davenport Elementary School, Linwood’s Seaview Elementary School, Upper Deerfield Township’s Seabrook Preschool and Lower Township’s David C. Douglass Veterans Memorial School.
