Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson expects to deliver another county tax rate decrease this year, he said in his budget message Tuesday. According to the Press of Atlantic City, salary costs are going up 3.78%, which equates to $3.2 million in additional spending “based on negotiations with eight of the 23 bargaining units.” Other expenses have increased 16.5% for an overall $6.3 million increase, said Levinson.
