Stockton University will host a public tour of the school’s maple syrup project at 4 p.m. Jan. 20. And there will be a question and answer peiod to follow. The free event will include a screening of the documentary film “Sugar House Yantra,” which features New Jersey maple syrup farmer Charlize Katzenbach, at 5 p.m. in the Campus Center Theater, in addition to free samples of local syrups.Stockton has been working to kickstart the state’s maple syrup industry via a three-year grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
