Repairs Underway On Fire Damaged Boardwalk In AC

Atlantic City’s Public Works Department has started repairing the portion of the Boardwalk in front of Resorts Casino Hotel that was damaged by a November fire. According to the Press of Atlantic City, Andrew Kramer, a spokesperson for the city, said although the public works crew began to replace some of the boards in front of the casino, the work won’t be completed until the concrete caps are replaced. That is being handled by an outside contractor, said Kramer, who also noted the repair costs to the Boardwalk were covered by insurance.
