The GallowayTownship Council amended its 2024 municipal budget seven times Tuesday to add $264,231 worth of grant money, mostly due to various American Rescue Plan firefighter grants.Five of the seven amendments were for firefighter grants. The Oceanville Volunteer Fire Company received $68,000, the Germania Volunteer Fire Company received $44,000, the Bayview Volunteer Fire Company received $34,000, the Pomona Volunteer Fire Company received $30,000 and the South Egg Harbor Volunteer Fire Company received $20,000.
