The Press of Atlantic City reports a gradual decrease in daily departures from Atlantic City International Airport led to Spirit Airlines’ decision to close its crew base there, a spokesperson for the company said Tuesday.Spirit is the only commercial carrier at Atlantic City International. The airport will not be closing, just the Spirit Airlines crew base that houses 157 members of the airline’s flight crew.
