30 year old Stephen Sirch of Voorhees is charged with vehicular homicide based on his involvement in a motor vehicle crash that occurred earlier this month. On April 3, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Sirch was involved in a motor vehicle crash on the
Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township. Sirch’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by
Karina E. Castillo, 29, from Clementon. Castillo was pronounced deceased at the scene as
a result of the injuries she sustained. A subsequent investigation revealed Sirch was travelling
at an excessive speed at the time of the crash. Sirch was charged with second-degree Vehicular Homicide and was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing.
